Josephine Carr

A talented artist and author, Josephine Carr lives on the stunning South Downs in Sussex, where she draws her daily inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes that surround her.

She dedicates her life not only to her art and writing, and to her organic farming, with a deep commitment to sustainability and the environment.

Through her work, Josephine highlights the beauty of the picturesque South Downs, as well as Greece, France and Italy, and she places a special emphasis on the lives of bees, celebrating their vital contribution to the natural world that surrounds us all.

Josephine has had the privilege of studying with Tod Ramos at Academy Studios Abroad in the South of France, Jane Morris Pack at the Aegean Center for Fine Art on the idyllic island of Paros, and Andrew James RP NEAC at the New School of Art in the Sussex village of Forest Row, as well as at the Slade Scoolof Art and Central St Martins.
